Winter is around the corner. It is best to adjust your last fill up so that you will run out about the time is gets cold.
By winterizing your system you protect it from the damage caused when there is a freeze. Be sure to get the Pink RV Plumbing Anti-freeze. It is ready to use and safe for the system and your animals.
We don't recommend leaving half a drum of mixed insecticide to sit over the winter. If you are only going to use about half of a drum then just mix up half of your concentrate and save the rest til you start up in the spring. It is better for your valves and filter to not sit idol in the insecticide for the winter.
We also don't recommend blowing out the systems. The downside is that there could be fluid left in the pump or lines that could freeze causing needed repairs come spring.
